Welcome to Mr. Gomez's classroom.
I am very honored and looking forward to being your child’s 4th-grade teacher. I will be using Parent Square as the platform to communicate in English or Spanish as well as my e-mail: [email protected]. I have taught 3rd through 6th grade for the past 23 years. I was at Central Elementary for 14 years and I will be starting my 10th year at Tracy Elementary. Go Trojans!
I am the 9th out of 10 children born in Mexico. I value family and a strong work ethic. I am married to a beautiful teacher Adriana and have 3 children; Mathew 28, Andrew 25, and Sarah 22. My goal this year like every year is to create a safe learning environment in which students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I have a passion for learning. I strongly believe all children have a special talent and I make it my mission to guide them in discovering theirs! For this reason, I am a project-based teacher. Our class will be creating projects with the information they have learned in class through notes and lessons.
Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom or written on the homework agenda. WebEx will be used as a virtual communication platform.
